Hi {{first name | Friend}}!

I wanted to quickly pop into your inbox and say oops—you might’ve noticed that my last email went out with my assistant’s name instead of mine. Totally my mistake, and I wanted to take a moment to apologize for any confusion. You know I love connecting with you directly, and I’m so grateful to have you here in this community. Thank you for your understanding—and I promise, it’s all me from here 💛 I do however receive support scheduling my newsletters!

With love,
Nadia

$20 Tasks Will Force You to go Out of Business, {{first name | Friend}}

Hi {{first name | Friend}}!

Happy Q4! 🥳

There’s nothing like the first day of Q4 it’s not just the holiday season approaching, but also the busiest time in advertising. And honestly? I celebrate it like crazy because my clients have their biggest revenue months during this time.

Speaking of revenue… Do you know what it’s really good for (besides providing for your family and funding your dreams)?

Delegating tasks you should NOT be doing.

I say this with respect and from experience. Been there, done that, and let me tell you…

Just like many of you, I’ve defaulted to doing $20 tasks to get that quick dopamine hit and feel “productive.”

Every time I took on a $20 task, I was sabotaging my business.

Why? Because those tasks weren’t moving the needle. They were keeping me busy, but not effective. Every time I got stuck in those tasks, my marketing and sales efforts were non-existent. Just look at my Instagram feed I didn’t post for months!

So, here’s what I did: I hired an operations assistant.

She’s taken over tasks that, honestly, she does way better than I ever could.

If You’re on the Fence About Hiring Help…

Here’s what I recommend:

  • Hire a contractor on Upwork or Fiverr. You can pay by project or hourly, so it’s a low-risk commitment.

  • Start with one or two tasks. Think about the things that drain your energy but don’t require your genius.

The truth is, delegating isn’t just about getting tasks off your plate. It’s about stepping into your role as the CEO you are. It’s about creating space to focus on the things that actually move the needle in your business.

8 Examples of “$20 Tasks” to Delegate or Automate

These are time-consuming, low-leverage tasks that feel productive—but don’t directly move the sales needle when done by the CEO.

  1. Manually responding to basic DMs (e.g., “How much is shipping?”)

  2. Posting content manually every day to IG/FB

  3. Designing basic Canva graphics for social media

  4. Updating product listings or SKUs in Shopify

  5. Formatting and sending newsletters (not writing—just the backend work.

  6. Uploading Reels or TikToks with captions and hashtags

  7. Tagging products on Facebook/Instagram

  8. Chasing down UGC from influencers or customers

These tasks are important but it’s time to delegate to a VA, automate with tools, or batch/schedule in advance.

8 CEO-Level Tasks That Actually Grow Your Marketing & Sales

These are $1K–$10K+ tasks that require your vision, strategy, and creativity and directly lead to more leads, conversions, and sales.

  1. Writing high-converting sales copy for, landing pages, or emails

  2. Designing/refining your offer suite to increase LTV or conversion

  3. Recording strategic Reels or video trainings that drive traffic or educate leads

  4. Developing a 30-day campaign calendar that ties into revenue goals

  5. Optimizing your lead magnet & email nurture flows for better conversion

  6. Hosting live conversion events (trainings, pop-ups, webinars, etc.

  7. Creating strategic partnerships or collaborations to grow your list

  8. Training your team or VA on how to support your organic + paid strategy at scale
