How Your Traffic Predicts Your Success

Hi friend!

If you’ve been feeling invisible online, this is for you.

Today, I want to talk about something many members of my community are struggling with: a lack of traffic—organic, paid, or both.

And I get it. When the likes, clicks, and sales slow down, it can feel like your business is stalling… or worse, failing.

The quick fix might seem like running more Facebook or Instagram ads—and yes, those can absolutely help. But if you’re ignoring your organic traffic, you’re missing the very foundation that makes your ads profitable.

Here’s why your organic traffic might be low:

  • You’re not showing up consistently on social media

  • Your messaging is unclear and not connecting

  • Your emails (if any) feel more like checkboxes than conversations

  • There’s no system to guide your audience into your funnel

  • You’re wearing all the hats and don’t even know where to begin

  • You’ve been relying on ads to do all the heavy lifting

If this feels a little too real, you’re not alone—this used to be me, too.

But here’s what changed everything: I stopped trying to do everything, and started doing the right things:

✨ I gave my content purpose—every post, reel, and email had a call-to-action

šŸ“¬ I stayed top-of-mind with weekly email campaigns that actually nurtured

šŸ” I leaned on automation to carry the heavy load and move leads forward

šŸ·ļø I used hashtags intentionally to expand my reach; you can use up to 30 per post

šŸŽ I created monthly freebies + ran a ā€œfreebie funnelā€ using ManyChat and my site

The result?

I no longer felt like I was guessing. My audience grew, leads warmed up before ever seeing an ad, and my ads started converting at a much lower cost.

If you’re tired of spinning your wheels, let this be your permission to stop relying on one strategy and start building a system that works even when you’re not online.

Reels are going back up again! šŸ¤©

You may have noticed it too—Reels are finally picking up traction again. šŸ™šŸ½

Instagram is putting renewed emphasis on short-form video because it’s what keeps users engaged. And after a season of shaky algorithm changes and declining views, the platform is now rewarding Reels with more reach especially for creators and small businesses showing up consistently.

What does that mean for you?

āž”ļø Reels are one of the fastest ways to get in front of new people organically

āž”ļø They’re being shown on the Explore page and suggested more often

āž”ļø You don’t need to go viral—you just need the right people to see you

Think of Reels as the top of your funnel: they spark visibility, draw in cold audiences, and give people a quick taste of your voice, vibe, and values.

And the best part? You don’t need to dance or do trends to make them work. Your expertise, storytelling, and behind-the-scenes content are more than enough to pull the right traffic in.

Key word here, friend! storytelling! If you’ve attended any of my trainings, you' know that I always suggest that type of content to build trust and nurture your audience. If you don’t know how to get started, use these three prompts to jump in.

Prompts:

šŸ“Œ Prompt #1: Share a specific moment that shifted the direction of your business. Was it a failed launch? A bold decision? A client breakthrough?

šŸ’” Why it works: It hooks people with emotion, builds trust, and positions you as someone who gets it.

āœ… Example opening line: ā€œI’ll never forget the day I almost gave up on my businessā€¦ā€

šŸ“Œ Prompt #2: Reflect on something you know now that you wish you had known at the start of your journey—pricing, marketing, burnout, confidence, etc.

šŸ’” Why it works: It’s relatable, gives value, and makes you instantly more human.

āœ… Example opening line: ā€œIf I could go back and tell my beginner self one thing, it’d be thisā€¦ā€

šŸ“Œ Prompt #3: Share the real story behind a recent win or failure—what led to it, what went wrong or right, and what you learned.

šŸ’” Why it works: Vulnerability + strategy = trust magnet. It shows depth and builds authority at the same time.

āœ… Example opening line: ā€œEveryone sees the results, but here’s what really happened behind the scenesā€¦ā€

With gratitude & intention,
